It is with great honor that I welcome you to the upcoming Tanzania Optometric Association Scientific Conference, hosted this year at the beautiful Corridor Springs Hotel in Arusha.

As we gather in Arusha, our shared mission remains clear: to elevate the standard of eye care and expand access to comprehensive vision services across our communities.

Community Eye Screening
True to our mission of advancing public eye health, TOA is proud to kick off the conference with a massive, free community eye screening event. We invite delegates to volunteer alongside local health workers to provide vital vision assessments, distribute spectacles, and identify patients needing advanced care in the Arusha community.

Registration Fees
- Optometrists 200,000 TZS
- Other Eye Care Professionals 150,000 TZS
- Students 50,000 TZS

The TOA Scientific Committee invites submissions of original research, clinical case reports, and public health reviews. Help advance the science and practice of optometry.
